Most Commonly Asked Visitor Questions:

  1. Q: Do I need to register and buy my ticket(s) in advance?

A: Yes, it is highly recommended that you do that. There is only a limited amount of tickets available and tickets might be sold out by the actual date of the Garden Tour. So don't wait until the last minute. You also need to register to get a tour guide with a listing of all the participating gardens.

  2. Q: Can I buy tickets online only, or can I buy tickets in person?

A: We offer both ticket purchase options, online through this website and in person. While tickets might still be available on the actual day of the tour, it is highly recommended to purchase tickets early as they might sell out. To purchase tickets in person before the day of the tour, please 'contact us' to let us know how many tickets your are interested in and to make purchase arrangements with the event organizer.

  3. Q: Can I bring my Children?

A: Yes, children are allowed and even free under age 10. However, please leave your strollers in the car and do not bring any pets. Please be respectful of the hosts garden and leave it as you see it. Please supervise your children not to pick anything, move or collect pebbles etc.

  4. Q: Is there a bus to take us to the gardens or how do we get around and where do we start?

A: This is a self guided tour where you provide your own transportation. You will receive a map and the addresses of all the gardens and you create your own route to follow.

  5. Q: What about parking?

A: Give yourself extra time to find an appropriate parking place. You may have to walk a few blocks. Please do not block driveways, or double park on streets. Be cautious and courteous to people walking around your car. Other options are to car pool or get some exercise and ride your bike.

  6. Q: How many gardens can I see?

A: Your ticket price includes access to all participating gardens of this year's tour. You therefore can visit many gardens as you can squeeze into the day from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Plan your route when you get the addresses several days prior to the tour so you will have an enjoyable day.

  7. Q: Can I ask questions during the Garden Tour about plants and the things I see at the gardens?

A: Absolutely! The hosts of each individual garden you visit will answer any questions you have regarding their garden on the day of the tour.

  8. Q: Are there any Restrooms?

A: No restrooms will be available at this private home garden tour.

  9. Q: Can I bring my pet(s) with me on the Garden Tour?

A: For everyone's safety and to avoid problems with 'mishaps' on the properties and gardens you visit, pets are not allowed on the tour.

Smoking and food consumption is not allowed in the gardens.
